What Is Different Between HDD and SSD.?

Harddisk often called  HDD, this hardware often we find in a PC dekstop or laptop, in update development technologies, hardware to save data is update too, so now we know about SSD, what the mean of SSD.? SSD is Solid State Drive it means in SSD isn't use a mechanics component, it use a circuit bord and ic as component. In a base between HDD and SSD is same but the data in SSD not save in magnetic layer as HDD. SSD save data on flash memory chip and connet with another component.

There is a five different HDD (Harddisk) and SSD (Solid State Drive) :
  • Size and Weight
Component and material on HDD like platter, head and etc is take effect in size, dimension and weight that HDD, while SSD free of that restriction, SSD is small and more light. The available SSD size now is 2,5 inch it menas SSD just for laptop use only.

  • Component and Work Principal
SSD is Solid State Drive while HDD is Harddisk Drive so HDD is buitt in mechanics and electronics, In a part of mechanic build in plate, motor, and arm to connect to plate. Process Create and read data is mechanics process. Gennerally data processing HDD is built from synergy in mechanics and electronics activities. On SDD just available electronics component only like integrated circuit or called IC, chip - chip and another electronics component suppot like capacitor. Generally all of write and read data is electronics process same as RAM or Flasdisk.
  • Speed Write and Read Data
Speed of write SSD is 8 times more fast than HDD, PC use  SSD it must more faster for booting process in second time and exaclty less than 1 minutes, while HDD need long time for booting process than SSD.

  • Effect
HDD is mechanics element so that produce an worse effect like hot excessive, noise, more need power while SSD have a electronics mechanics so effect like not hot like HDD, Noise is nothing, And consume few power.
  • Price
SSD is sale more expensive than HDD. The price of SSD is 9 times more expensive than HDD
